Pewter Pearl Hair Comb. This hair comb would be great for a bride, prom or any occasion. The wire in the comb is silver plated and of course made by me. It measures 3" wide with a loop on each end so you have the option of securing it with pins to hold it firmly in place for your special day. The pearls adorning this comb are 4mm and 8mm glass pearls in a color of pewter. There are also silver lined seed beads for a hint of sparkle.

A ONE OF A KIND PIECE. Deer represent agility and gentleness, and also the natural soul we are losing to our modern existence. We encroach on their habitat and then claim hunting "culls their numbers" so that they don't overpopulate, all while their habitat continues to shrink and they are forced to share what's left with us. This particular deer hair came from the Appalachian foothills of Virginia and was collected after a hunter's kill. The hunter left the head and legs of this young stag, just barely getting its antlers, scattered on the forest floor. I collected its remains, placed them under a tree, gave thanks, and collected a few tufts of its hair. This pendant is made of deer hair, faceted Sleeping Beauty turquoise, and beads created from tiny bamboo stalks. The hair itself is wrapped in a minute bit of kidskin (unfortunately I can't claim such romantic origins for this, it came from the Calvin Klein design room - nonetheless, I have given thanks). It is strung on fine sterling silver chain. All other accents, including clasp, are of sterling silver. Give thanks and respect.
